what's important

As my upcoming debut novel, "The Wall", will be published this November with Koehler Books I couldn't help but think of the quote by Stephen King. It's a good reminder for me as I embark on this journey as to what is important. It could be interpreted in a couple of different ways. To me it means what should take precedence. Yes, the writing is important. Yes, it takes focus and time. But it shouldn't come first. It should not come before family and God. And it shouldn't be taken too seriously. Anyway, that's it for now. Most of these blogs will probably be short and sweet, allowing me more time to actually write. Appreciate the read!
